Since his debut, Mr. Williams Esq has proven to be universally hated by the fans.
He started by picking a fight with the smallest member of the Alpha Omega roster (and firm fan favourite) E-Bomb.
Mr Williams’ feud with E-Bomb came to a very bitter conclusion at the end of 2017, when they faced off, with a special enforcer – a man who had gotten sick of Williams’ bullying tactics – Rick Markus.
With E-Bomb emerging victorious, and Rick counting the decisive pinfall, Williams immediately challenged Markus, claiming his “terrible job” as enforcer was what cost Williams the victory.
Markus replied to the challenge simply with “Any time, any place. Step up, and I’ll knock you down”.
Unfortunately the planned match between these two would have to wait, as Markus sustained a career threatening injury.
At Outbreak, when Markus came to address the fans regarding his injury status, he was attacked by Williams and his Student Union (Jack and Freddy).
This setback wouldn’t keep Markus down for good, as he returned at War on the shore to team with E-Bomb and face Williams’ team (with Williams himself nowhere in sight).
This match also didn’t go as Rick had planned as a NEW member of the Union Lucy Sky would cost him the match and hand the Student Union a debut victory.
Markus immediately demanded that Alpha Male Evil Lewis grant him his one on one match, “no matter what, make it happen” were his words.
Mr Williams agreed to face Markus, but only under the stipulation that he chose the special enforcer, to show Rick how it’s done!
This match didn’t go as Markus would have liked. Any time he gained the upper hand over his nemesis, the “enforcers” would get involved.
Markus quickly got sick of this and decided to take matters into her own hands, battersing both Freddy and Jack… but ended up being counted out in the process.
Afterwards, Rick wanted another chance at Williams, without the Student Union getting in the way.
That’s not exactly what he’s got however, as to get a rematch with Williams, he must first defeat both Freddy and Jack in a handicap match!
But, if Markus is successful. He gets Williams one on one – and Markus gets to choose the stipulation!
