November 12th will see a classic example of “this town isn’t big enough for the both of us” as two of Blackpool’s finest exports – James Drake and Ricky J McKenzie – end their year long rivalry at Remember Remember.
James Drake’s ego took a bashing when at Fightmare before Christmas 2015 he was beaten up by Santa RJM.
Drake would get his revenge by scoring a pinfall victory over McKenzie following interference from one of Drake’s followers Andre Dekker. This was followed by a beatdown from Dekker, Drake and Drake’s original follower Barricade.
Drake had promised his followers success under his leadership, but what they’ve been is human shields to take a beating from RJM on his revenge mission to get his hands on Drake.
Drake even sacrificed his follower Barricade during the golden chance rumble to secure the elimination of top favourite Cyanide. This decision didn’t sit well with Dekker, but he quickly stepped back in line and it seems as though Barricade has too.
With Dekker and Barricade following the leader into battle against RJM, this could easily be a 3 on 1 handicap match, and overwhelming odds that no one. Not even RJM. Can overcome.
