At War on the Shore, we witnessed a clash of titans. A battle for the ages. A match that will go down in Morecambe Wrestling History between Alpha Omega Champion Stixx and “The Psychotic Warrior” Johnny Phere.
In the end, Phere was defeated by the reigning champion and took his frustrations out on referee Craig Anderson and Phere’s former manager Greg “The Truth” Lambert.
These actions caught the attention of Alpha Male Stallion and Lambert’s current client, “The Priority” Chris Ridgeway.
Stallion has stated that because of Phere’s attack on the official, he will not receive a rematch for the title – a huge blow to the aspirations of the Morecambe veteran – and on top of this, Ridgeway has taken to twitter to call out Johnny for his perceived petulance.
This war of words on twitter escalated quickly and has become incredibly heated and personal, and now Stallion has made the match official.
July 16th, at Vendetta, The Psychotic Warrior Johnny Phere goes one on one with The Priority Chris Ridgeway.
Veteran v upstart, old school v new school, loved v reviled.
It will be a great match that promises to steal the show.
